yea i do that put my vehicle in then it takes me to the 4 area's but when i click on the area's it takes me to another menu more in depth i.e cooling! then it just shows me a parts list with all the part numbers and all the prices but no diagrams!

right temp gauge sorted but now we have a new challange! (i like to think of them as challanges before i loose the will to live lol!) but i now have a working gauge! but i have followed both guides about the a/c removal and the guide about the flushing off the cooling system! BUT i still dont think it is ok! the temp gauge on idle wont go over about half way! which in turn wont kick the fan in! which means the bottom rad hose is still cold even tho the top rad hose is hot!

secondly after removing the AC i have been told to bridge some of the connectors out but no matter what connections i bridge the fan either comes on with the heating controls! (yes that confused me too!) or it stays on constant! which means the temp gauge aint going up should the car get hotter than half way on just idle! i cant take the car on the road as it has no MOT or tax lol!

anyone? pulling ma hair out with this! it also is struggling it idle steady! i have cleaned the idle control valve! it helped a little but not cured the prob! i have a massive leak coming from the mani to turbo gasket but didnt think that would cause any problems just leaking boost!

no one? wanted to have a stab at this tomorrow but i am stumped aint got a clue what to look at next!

also on a side note i have got a oil temp and oil pressure gauge i want to fit! i also have a sandwhich plate but it wont fit on! so is there anywhere else i can put a 'T' peice or something in so i can install the gauges?

ain't no one got a clue about the fan! i really want to get this on the road and driving again and i am away fishing next weekend! would really love to take this on a nice drive! but need to get this done this week!

i need to know what connectons i need to bridge on the fan! to make it run as normal when i have removed the A/C as it either runs with the heating controls! or it runs constant! and also trying to bleed the cooling system the bottom rad hose doesn't get hot even after 10-15 mins of idling!

but at what point should the thermostat open? like what point on the temperature gauge? as the gauge never went above half way even after about 10-15 mins on idle! and what point should the fan kick in? do you think i need to install a aftermarket temp gauge to see what is going on?

by right it should be opening but if your bottom hose is cold after a long warm up id say your thermostat is fooked.. the sensor for the fan is at the bottom hose so it will not open if the if the thermostat is stuck closed as no hot water can pass through the sensor to turn on the fan.. heat it up agian for awhile keeping an eye on the temp gauge and keep checking the bottom hose to see if it gets warm.. ull know if the thermostat opens cause the hose will be easy to squeeze and will be hot.. if its working come back on here and we will look for other suggestions

fucking thing is really pissing me off now! dont know if it is something i have missed but i now have blue and black smoke when revving the car now! the thermostat is opening but the temp gauge is not going past the half way point and the fan is not kicking it! i stuck a diagnostic test on the car and it flashed up 22! so what is going on with the peice of shit!

ya id say its an open circuit somewhere.. it could be what you were on about the other day about bridging the a/c connectors for the fan
