speedo lights have stopped coming on

Working on my mates 96 glanza today and we were playing about with the rear fog light, everything worked to start with but now the rear fog light and the Speedo lights aren't coming on (just the backlight, not the warning lights) does anyone know what we might've done?

The headlights etc still work but the dials dont

Blown a fuse ?

Had a quick look at the fuses and couldn't see any blatant signs of any being blown. its a strange one

Its my new glanza Fletty is on about. The light for the fog light switch isn't coming on at all either. Would the relevant fuse be under the dash or in the box in the bay. Also I couldn't see anything that would be related to the cluster dials :S

Did you wire the fog light off the instrument cluster lights? If so it has overloaded the fuse and blown it, its under the steering wheel, I think it is "dome"

For future reference to anyone it turns out that the fuse for the rear lights had blown and this is somehow connected to the cluster lights.
