I've been thinking doing the same but I read somewhere around here that it'd ruin the CT9 seals because of lack of back pressure and CT9s
ready to have your ears bleed..? hehe
i run a straight-pipe and it only gets uncomfortable after 4k revs.. otherwise you'll live..
i have a 2.5 str8 thru with ct9, sounds awesum!
I run CT9 straight through decat the lot. 2.5 then 3 inch from mid section. Turbos been fine for 3 years like that
I cant believe somebody said cant run a straight through on ct9 coz lack of back pressure.lol

It's a common misconception, however in reality you don't need a massive exhaust if you only run low boost... Well I'm not a professional in that, but I hope somebody on the forum can explain further if the bigger exhaust do any harm to the car at all? And what I can't understand why on earth would the oil seals be affected???
For how long have you been running this setup? Any turbo seals problem? Also would you please post a video of how does it sound till rev limit?
Thanx
2 yrs, got the car like that, turbo shit the bed as i got the car and running its replacement ever since but that was due more to the clown who sold me the car using 4 diff turbos to make 1 so he could sell me the car.
