Thank god it dryed out , first drag event ever and first proper drive of the car . full interior plus shit tires
14.3 @ 107 mph missed gear in the semi , gearbox started to get abit notchy from the 27 runs i did
roll on the next event

The camera goes crazy in 3rd gear...it seems to get some sort of interference...is it because of the boost kicking in?

The drag slicks are massivly unbalanced, tyre place said there's no way the could add enough counter weight, something like 300 grams. I'll have it sorted for next time, also was a stupid amount of toe out on the front wheels.

Terminals weren't that high 123 or so, was doing 128 last year with less power, couple of things to check with the geometry, also think I went far too low on tyre pressure.

Waiting on a better pressure plate for the clutch before the Pod, not guranteed the weather now coming over this time of year so prob leave it to next year.

The pod would be fun alright, you can hear in the videos it was spinning the full of 3rd gear, the pod would do away with that and maybe even 2nd gear spin plus yeld a 1.6-1.8 60ft, all adds up to a great time. I need another run over here with the improvements going onto the car to see if there are any other issues.

That's be space and time distorting slightly. He'll rip the Pod a new wormhole when he visits lol..

Going well Spuddy, the vids are insane. Bet everyday life feels just that little bit slower now!

i reacon u`ll still spin 3rd up pod my mates fiesta run a 12.6 at 123 still spinning 3rd on slicks but they weas shit slicks so u might be ok but ur running 500bhp n hes runnin 330

Something not right there, I could get 2nd with no wheelspin back when I had 320hp on drag radials on a normal surface.

There's alot more to it than just the tyre, we just fired the slicks onto mine last, had to raise the nose quite a bit to fit them so no doubt the camber and toe are out a mile, the front wheels had a ton of toe out on them visually.

its a mk2 fiesta thats prob why they aint every good with power haha hes gonna put adjustable bottom arms on soon anywayz

It does it right from the start when it was on the front bumber which was a bit loose so I think its just vibration as Spuddy said. It was only stuck onto the side of the rear quarter panel with a suction cup and and arm so the wind may have buffeted it about abit at 120 mph lol.
