Yea got to agree with dave123456789 after switching to my new set up (t28) for me anything is better than a ct9 even when its running one bar. dave123456789 have you had to run an oil restrictor on your t25 as iv had to use one getting oil leaking from the compressor housing

im using a largish exhaust housing .64 but with a t3 compressor wheel just had it rebuilt & balanced with 360 thrust bearing only running 7psi same as dave with similar spool up times although i cant say iv really put my foot down yet, i dont mind lag thou as it feels even better when its on boost

Yes am using a restrictor in the oil feed line. On my ct9 setup I was running 10-11psi and this turbo on 7psi is a hell of alot faster, cant wait to be running more boost. Also agree with you about the lag dan, its not a major problem anyway. At 100kmph I just shift down into 3rd and im on full boost through the rest of the gears. Same thing applies when traveling at 50kmph, just chop down into second and your off.

Edit: I will get the specs of my turbo tonight, cant really be bothered taking it all off to count fins though

That is a T25 Mate , have seen one swift running around with one of these .

Do you plan to run it on the stock manifold with an adapter plate ?

hmm the old t25 boosts efficiently just like the gt2554r. until 1.4 its all good (im like 95% sure of this) with a good management and all supporting mods, at 1 bar u should see like 200-220bhp appox.

about the spool of the t25, i think its a liiiitle lagier than a 2554 so its 1bar at 3400-3500 i think mate

standard journal t25 is only good to 1.2 bar.i blew mine on my drift car at 1.2bar and the seals went.

So you were sayin that the one on the left spooled quicker, what rpm did u get full boost? 3.5k?

and what does 1-2 stand for?

maybe it was destined for a twin turbo setup?
as in 1-2 means primary turbo, 2-2 means secondary turbo?
