Evening guys, not sure who else is into R/C cars, but my Tamiya tt 01 turned up today after purchasing from ebay.

Couldn't wait to get home after work today to get the beast out, quite impressed, got suspension mods along with a few others. It's still running stock 540 motor, can't wait to get a more powerful battery and a brushless motor ready to drift etc.

Anyhow, below are a few pics, not the best, but will give you a brief idea, oh and also a junior video of me recording whilst lil bro blaps about. Skyline cover (brand new), other is Lexus a bit battered on front.
By the way guys, I have D2's waiting to go on that Lexus, a bit of a boat atm:haha: will drop the pins down once I've hacked about with it:drive:

they aren't too with stock 540 motor, but I need to get a brushless and at least 3500-4000mah battery. Suspension is after market ;)

mines a calsonic 350z though.

i got a 27 turn uprated yokomo stock pro 2 motor, and metal hubs and drive shafts and uprated ball diffs and prop shaft, and yeah racing shocks.

i bought it in feb, and used it 3 times, and it's been stuck in it's box since.

just dont seem to have any spare time any more :(

got a new shell aswell i need to do at some point that will eventually look awsome, just need time :(

ahhhh proper memories that is, ive had a load of these little cars over the years when i was a kid lol used to race and stuff aswell later on.

my best car in terms of results was a 1/10 scale shumacer fireblade RWD competition buggy. like the RC10 B3 models. (motor right on the back driving the back wheels).

had a 3300 battery, loads of hop up parts, very lightweight, and the secret weapon lol, a reedy tri-sonic 11turn motor - went like a rocket. i used to win most races tho cus id gear my car differently depending on the course layout. had a cool bodyshell design too, banana yellow with black flames. miss that car lol

haha no way found a pic of the kit

Liner, GTR - all the same shit.

As for memories, just don't sell any you have in the future - I regret selling all my classics :(
