B18C6 is the name for JDM and UK engines.

The JDM 96 has a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold, the 98 has a 4-1 to up the torque. The UK has a 2" Manifold, not 2.5 and makes a little less power due to this. Also, the JDM is lighter due to less items (usually) airbags, abs, etc etc

cheerz for all the feedback, was pretty tempted as this guy is well up for a swap, but after speaking to ricky and finding out its gonna cost a gud 2.5k to get it running decent turbo power ive decided to keep the glanza :) If this car wasnt so far away (im in bristol hes in scotland) i would probbaly still go and look , but im gonna stick with the V , get it respraid and maybe then look at going forged :)

people need to open their minds. plus drive fast round corners. you could buy the best suspension mods in the world and a standard civic would still out perform it. i sold my 200bhp ep82 for a standard ek4 vti-s and i loved it. now i bought garys 182bhp eg6 and i love it even more. vtak is the way i think. turbo is fun but a ct9 is for quiche eaters. either go big power in your glanza and go "shit this is fast if i put my foot down in a straight line" or get a civic and become a track warrior and have a car that sounds like a race car. you cant beat popping the 9's.

go and have a go mate, thats the only way. I must admit my 9 bores me a little sometimes round town etc. But then i just take it out on the B roads and it comes alive, even with B16 y0 it's great fun, and handling is great :)

Had 2 vtecs,handling is unbeatable. Not my driving style though, have to be on the edge all the time, keeping it in vtec ect. too much hard work, unless it was a track car :)

yeah man there is nothing like hitting the rev limit at 9k when flying round a corner!!!!! you just gotta adpat your driving style. practice the old heel and toe and you will be a touge king in no time!!!!!

also you gotta think how reliable they are and how super tyte jdm they are yo.

The people that dont like these cars are people that are not that interested in corners. Thats a simple as that. As you cannot possibly think the car is boring if you drive anything like i drive :haha:

I dare anyone to come out with me in my car and tell me you had a boring experience :drive: The amount of people that have come out now in mine and ate their hat.

You have to accept that everyone drives differently and not everyone looks for the same thing. If you drive quite slow in general then a torquey car is what you need. I can accept everyone has their own views due to their own driving style.

^^Agreed dan your car is something else my missus cant stop raving about it after going out with gaz in it she was a pure vtak hater but your ek9 has changed her mind and shes looking at getting one!!

Looks good mate, alot of money has been spent on it.
Im looking getting a civic aswel myself, along with a 200sx :D

Everyone always say you gotta experience Vtec, and i went out in my mates SIR Eg6 and that was awsome!!!
