nothing at the moment but got a interview at bmw body shop tomorrow fingers crossed
aerospace engineer - cnc turbine jet blades and fuel veins for all the big companies, rr , pratt and witney, ge, alsthom, they use the turbine jet engines for power generation aaswell now, the company makes blades that are an inch high( god knows what they are 4 - i reckon its the unmanned drones) to 3ft tall, the ones i usually make are worth 7,000 each and i make between 12 -18 on a 12 hour shift so work that out.
similar career as me. i work for rolls royce testing the fully finished gas turbine. during the past 3 years i worked round the diff areas which includes cnc machining of compressor and turbine blades, pretty interesting stuff.
for blades that are an inch long they are more likely to be part of the HP or LP power turbine system, strong small solid blades (some of them having cooling air holes) that can handle extreme compression and heat! they are in the last stage of the compression so need to withstand awesome amounts of power.
also, what is it u actually do mate? as an aerospace engineer would tend not to be involved with cnc blades?
Similar to me, I do blades for Allison (rolls Royce USA).
