Toyo Or Yokohama ???

Very helpful thread Cole just the question I was about to ask myself.

I have always used T1R’s and found them to be very good, but I am very interested in trying something different and the Yoko seem like a good option..

My only question is about the grip and they really lacking compared to the T1R’s its not a massive issue because of the winter as the GT is off the road but my car is torque steer central and having the most grip is really important.

Thanks E

regarding R888's they are an excellent tire in all aspects, i don't run in the wet, but so far, their wet grip is better than other summer tires (like the pirelli p zeros i had). i put them on last june, wanting to change them as winter came, but they perform so well all around that i found no reason to. and they don't wear fast, not at all.

Got eagle's myself and can't fault them at all.

Compared to Potenza's i had before its like a different car!

Toyo have released the r1r not as slick as the r888 but more so then a t1r also should last reasonably well.

ive got T1-Rs on the front atm...theyre ok...nothing amazing though, was expecting better, but, they do seem to be lasting, I had eagle F1s on my old fiesta zetec-s they were amazing, but lasted few months...
