I'd like to see a pic of the surface, also I wonder if there is any safety equipment, both medical and fire.

Just read a post on DTDIRL that they had to tell the guy to stop counting down 1,2, 3 before saying GO as people were going on 2 lol!!!!
Sounds like a total farce, what was the timing equipment, someone with a mobile phone!!!

lads its not that serious we dont go mad on times we no what times cars are capable of or whatever its all good for some northern boys to have bishopscourt and enniskillen not so far away from them but in our eyes down here its all a bit of fun the racers no who won "doesn matter weither you win by a inch or a mile winnings winning" we can travel for the proper drag days but just for something for us to pass bita time during weekends its cool..
the scooby isnt 420 bhp its my mates its just a very fast type ra with small few things done to it they beat the scooby but didnt chew it up..

Oh dear lol!
Fair enough its just for fun, but I won't be going risking my motor for nothing. For me the race is all about the time and nothing else, bar the finals I never care about the car in the other lane and in 90% of my runs I'm not too bothered about beating the other car specifically. It amuses me when people come up after buming and blowing about how they beat ya and all you did was take your time setting up at the lights.
Remember the time doesn't start in your lane untill you break the beem, can sit at green for as long as you like.

not starting argument or anything but wat really is the point in racing then if 90% of time don really care about other car just to get one good time in to reach the finals??
i no spuddy your kinda car is in lets say league of its own in gt standards like towards me running ct9 looking to beat some b16 or b18 where as you going for the likes of scooby evo teratory???

I'm sure Ted and WeeJohn will agree, when out racing the main thing on the day is to beat your personal best. Yes if a tasty motor is in the other laneand you fancy a go at it then work away, theres only a few cars on the day I want to race, these are generally Teds, Johns, AnimalGTs, Beagleys and any Evo/Subaru/ or RWD motor.

Im with matty on this lads its all for the crack just because there isnt timing equipment there doesnt mean its a waste
you could call it training if ya wanted but as matty said its very close for us lads who dont wanna drive 3 or 4 hours to drag just for a day when we are not competing in the championship anyway
i will deffo be attending the next one
