I think he is using 1 turbo to feed the other. So each would would need a ewg? I don't really know tbh! Just makes sense in my mind

but if you have the waste gate before the turbos then you will not need 2, this kind of idea

it won't matter what way you compound /seqential connect the turbos

What about the twin turbo pack off an rx7 would that not be an easyer set up as the 2 turbos are joined together..... It's hard to explain but look it up

No such thing as full boost by 3000rpm, no matter how bad you want to sound like.

Ok, so imagine your running 15 psi, and your saying you get right on the sport 15psi at 3000rpm = rubbish. There is no such thing when people say full boost by X amount of rpm. Since your saying you get full boost by 3000rp, so does that mean your getting 5psi at 1000rpm. Sounds like jack shet if you ask me. Ok, so 10psi at 2000rpm, i dont think so.

You seriously have'nt a clue.

Somebody mentioned using VNT turbos. This IMO is no better than using an external wastegate. I suppose an external wastegate is probably more reliable than a variable vane turbo (vnt). VNT's give alot of bother in VAG motors with carbon build up etc. I would stear clear of them for that reason but on the other hand I would like to see what power a GT17 would make on a 4E!

VNT turbo's will still have a wastgate to control the boost but has ajustable veins on the exaust side to control the flow to minimise lag,

Agree with above, there's a few lads on rtoc useing them and if they are setup correctly there's good gains to be had

just think,a tdo5 that spools like a ct9
I'm sure porshe use these on there top end turbo cars

Not what i'm saying tho is it all i have said is once them vanes are open for more top end power you still have to control the amount of exaust gases going into it.

Never said nothing about if they are capable of being put on a petrol car and can withstand the heat of one.

Porsche have used them on petrol cars like it said in the link i posted.

Would be interesting to see a vnt working but Im referring to the Vag gt15-gt17 series VNT turbos, they don't work well on the petrols but if you say Porsche use them then it would be very interesting to see them on a 4e
