hey there, im driving a wee GT running around 210BHP so understanably i expected it to loose a bit of grip on take off, at hard pace, i had eagle f1's i think they are on it. but, now they are done was woundering what you might think the best tyre is at a reasonable price. I put an old pair of alloys on the front today which are firestones, good tyre when the car was standard, now, thier crap lol

Don't go Toyo Proxes T1-R, what most people don't know is that Toyo changed compound a couple of years ago to make the tyres last longer. They didn't bother to tell people that even though you now get a longer lasting tyre, the performance of them is no longer anywhere near as good as they used to be.

I use Uniroyal Rainsport2's personally, a very good tyre in the dry and you will be amazed by the performance of them in the wet. They can be got for cheap on eBay and I think mytyres.co.uk stock them too?

My T1R's were deathtraps in the wet!
