lol.......... some manual set ups arent all that bad to drive, especially if they are little cars...... when you say reduce power loss, you mean the slight amount of power used off the cam to power the pump? lol... you are a serious fella aie? :p

well if i cant source one or im the copule of people who are offering me, are quoting me a bad price then i'll try and do a search and match up the chassis number from someone/toyota and see if it'll fit before i actually pick up...... seems the best option....

just looked on fensport to see get an idea of second hand prices and they're selling for an MR2 turbo and celica GT4 steering rack for £70-£90 which isnt terrible........ unfortunatly they dont have any for the EP GT......

ahh well...............

i got a quote for £685 + VAT

they can shove it right up there ....................

they have one on ebay which ive just seen and asking if that particular one will fit a 94 GT..... its going for £89 which is very reasonable..... just waiting on his response now......

its a web site mate just type 24 7 spares in on oogle and it'll come up,its worked for me very part ive needed i got near enough the next day.it searches all over the country just after describe which part you want,i put in gt4 twin piston calipers,some places rung me the next day then got them the following day.hope this helps.

Right, a little info for you mate.

I've ran through the part numbers for the steering racks.

There's a change from mk1 to mk2 to mk3. The Glanza ones change again. This means the only way you will know if they are interchangable is to physically try them or find someone who has.

As I advised you I have a 1990 one and a 1996 one here but you are bount to find something closer that'll be more suitable.

right well just waiting on Gaz_turbo1 to get back to me as he has one from an EP85... to let me know it will fit, if it doesnt then i'll try and get some more info....

Is there no-one here that knows this information, someone here must of tried it or knows what will fit....?
