Want my Glanza Back :-(

Has anyone else got rid of there Starlet/Glanza and then wished they didn't?

Currently driving a Honda Civic FN2 Type R as a daily, got a few bits on it..HKS Suspension, Intake, Exhaust. Don't get me wrong it's a nice car to drive BUT..... You can't beat a Stripped out Glanza with a clunky LSD, noisy single plate clutch and a Wastegate that Flutters! lol

I think I need to get a track one? They look like they have come down in price alot now aswell :cool:

I doubt id be complaining if i was driving an FN2, i got myself a vti civic but thankfully kept the glanza as the civic is just not the same.

selling my GT is one of my biggest regrets but really had no choice at the time :( On the hunt mad for her replacement!!! Allready have a bunch of tasty parts now just need a GT (or a glanza...maybe :p)

Yep, after selling my GT a few months back, I now wish I hadn't. So I may be on the look out for another one soon :)

I dont want this to happen to me as i want to sell mine soon. Just need to get a few bits sorted on mine to make it spot on before it goes.

I know dude. Its just bloody one thing after the next. Nothing serious, just general bits and bobs. Starting to have enough after 5 years of ownership lol.

I can almost understand what you mean............. with the number of threads you create, lol. Cant let all that work go to waste :p

I have had mine 10 years now and there aint no plans to get shut of it how ever much I have spent on it!! Way look at it is there aint much out there thats as cheep to tax, insure and run thats as much fun to drive with the smile factor the starlet has! granted I have probably spent 3 or 4 times more than I paid for the car on it but I am still only the 2nd owner and that wont change what ever I do in the future!! I have my sensible car and the motor bikes (his and hers lol) too so that keeps us going for the starlet down time.

I owned my 1st starlet for 4 and half years and had my GT for almost 3 but its in the middle of being broken :(

I am gonna miss it, in fact I may not even sell the shell, I just need to sell my mods at the moment because times are hard. But I also what to get into skidding next year so who knows.

I know I will miss it though

The sympathy is truely there mate, but.... Dibs is mine yea, called it from way back.
Got my eyes on the Toyota FT-86 at the moment also, planning part ex'ing the Beema.
I dont think i could ever sell my glanza though, i'd end up storking the new owner and theiving it back.

lol no worries Deno, didnt forget about ya. I just dont think i would get what i want for this car to be honest. Seems everyone these days wants the highest powered best spec'd JDM cleanest starlets for peanuts lol. Mine hasnt got the high power that most go for these days, therefore i dont think people are willing to pay more money for mine as im only running ct9 :(

Had the same problem when I sold my glanza mate, people were offering peanuts because it was still on the stock turbo. There only worth money to someone who knows what its worth. And with the likes of 17, 18 year olds being able to pick them up as a first/second car and get insured they want the car for next to nothing.
