wouldnt that void warranty kinda thing

lol what warrenty it proabably ran out 10/15 years ago.....

anyway inside my jam they all are like this from inside

so from what i've seen and heard from various comments and from some research, Blitz ones are a bit better, but like you said all slightly diff from each other as they could be fitted on diff cars and setups before. but when you reset them, will they go back to 'standard' base map? and so can learn to a certain point from your setup to your needs?

right they all have ability to self learn a bit

the only way to check is to use any ecu of this type
on a turbo kit lets say td04 and wide band lambda
to see what the capabilites are... by running higher boost etc...

it wont go back to ep base map no it will go back to what it is set for

in terms of which one is better... that depends if it suits your needs
or what its mapped for

dont forgot these adjust air to fuel ratio... ignition mix
so from the start you have a advantage because they are not setup
for economy runs etc.. they are set up for power increases/better performance
