Well yeah there is a problem it needs welded! :haha:

I can only assume thats what is putting people off it.
Yes it could be welded for peanuts, but at the end of the day would you really trust it without getting it checked over?
Thats my opinion anyway.

I wasnt put off at all when I bought it, only a couple of easy welds.. Surely it wouldnt need checking if done by a competent person, they will be able to confirm it's fine? I'll end up keeping it if I can't sell it, I'd rather have it, just really need the money at the mo. £400 for an 8 point carbing cage is a deal and a half, even with £20 worth of welding needs doing...

Would you be put off by it?

I wouldnt be put off it, i would have mabey taken it if it wasnt a dash dodger.

Personally id want it checked then again id be using my car in competion with corners...
