What air filter?

Hey guys/girls

my gt engine is nearly ready to go in the ep85 and I'm now starting to think of bits and bobs I need, and i wondered what make induction/airfilter you all use.

I'm not looking to go wild on the price but don't want a cheap chavvy one either!

iv got a green cotton one on my td04 works well withe the filter relocation aswell !! i think there are a few in 4 sale parts like blitz k&n etc

i think the best (filtration) is the power enterprise ones - around £180 - think tuning developments have got some stock to clear and got some cheaper than that, then the apexi one is good too.

There was a blitz one on the car when I bought him, however its a bit damaged where its been resting on something in the engine bay so I'm worried this may affect it

Yeah mine was knocking a little bit aswell. aslong as it hasn't made a hole in the filter i can't imagine it's going to affect performace. They are probably one of the most sturdy types of filter.

Yea this could affect the intake alright. Prob best to get a new filter, apexi with a relocation kit is what i would advise. Best of luck with the build, sounds super!

Apec stainless mesh filter, cheap + cheerful. £25
