35mins? how do you manage that? takes about that long to jack it up and put it safely on axle stands. then you need to undo both mounts that hold the box. everything attached to the box, pop the driveshafts out. undo the box, drain the oil and remove it. i cant see its possible!!!!!

Ask starlet_sam lol, this was the 5th time i had done it, and dont 4get ive got alot less stuff in the way in my engine bay :p

im fitting a clutch for sam in a few weeks another few hours of joy:D:|

i just remembered you are the bodge master, must be something to do with your skills passed down through generations ;)

my previous exedy clutch juddered from day one until it went. even when it went it still juddered a bit when it had cooled.
this organic one is worse.
its not as though anything was loose or anything as when i remove it everything was tight still. i just have to seriously slip it with quite a few revs and its fine. hopefully it will improve a bit as its a bitch to drive with in town

yeah, took me 5 hours to change flywheel and clutch and get it all back together and running again.
i had an exedy std clutch and it lasted about 2 years. i did abuse it quite a bit though. i now have an organic exedy and its juddery as fuck but seems ok other than that. dont like it personally but at least it doestn slip

Is this a common fault cus i had mine replaced and its juddery so we thought the crank seal was away again??

my orc "judders" too.. but its just the clutch gripping strongly.. it doesnt allow smooth pull away as it isnt really designed for it, its for grab and hold on baby lol

Ok then mate will do. I'll take a pic 2nite n we can strike a deal :p lol!
In all seriousness, how long do you reckon it would take you with a fairly standard engine bay??

Took me and Dan (mostly Dan) 6 hours when I had all my standard gubbins in there, but we would have finished 3 hours or so earlier if it didn't go dark as we were fitting it all by the light off my phone!

just an update. now ive ran in my new exedy organic clutch im very happy with it. nice to drive with and seems to grip pretty well. was juddery at first but after putting about 30 miles or so on it, its alot better. only mild judder now and then and most of the time none at all. heavier than stock clutch, but thats to be expected.

all in all, im happy ;)
