Not true, evo's 'all' can crankwalk (not sure about the 10), it was me that solved the problem on the earlies with a mod to the bearing carrier which to date seems to be 99% success.all evos untill 5 had probs engene probs with crank walk if it was me i would save up and buy a 5 or a 6

Just for the record my red evo2 car (you would find pictures on here somewhere) was 510hp ran 10.55, i used it everyday and it had 90thou on it when i killed it, had a stock bottom end and head, only cams, inj, tubby and ecu were changed, so pretty good motors for the money
The early Evo's are fantastic cars.I'd listen to Pete on anything Evo related he knows what he's talking about.

whats restrictive about a 6" maf?
cause a standerd maf can only meter a serten amount of air before it needs to be larger/ replaced with a bigger one or removed !
my friend has a 3,great car to drive,id love one,but they do suffer the crank walk on evos 1 to 4,they are fine from 5 on.
ive never heard of any from 5 up doing it,strange. As stated above 'all evos crankwalk' dont comment if you dont know
not if you extend the tables it doesn't, the only restriction with a maf is when it collapses internally from too big a turbo sucking on it
yer but your talking 600+ then, wheres the point in that unless your building a drag carexactly to get this power u need a massive turbo and big boost witch mean lots of SUCKING!
