wiring a tachometer

i have all the other wires sorted except the main signal wire anyone no were i wire it to ??

The main signal wire can be wired off the coil pack off the distributer.

Splice into the wiring where it comes out...

Is that where I would get the feed for my Green wire?

Currently I have Red and Black which I will use from my cigarette lighter.

Green, not sure, possibly from diagnostic plug IG if I find which it is.

And as for orange cable I have no idea what it's for and where to connect

Any feedback on this would be great, cheers guys
