To be honest it would have been interesting to see how well Ireland could of done if we werent cheated out of the world cup by France, thats going by the way we played our last couple of games.

I thought it was a complete disgrace that Henry got blaitently caught and they still allowed France to qualify!

As much as i would like England to win, i think Spain have got this in the bag this year. All shit hot players on top form...

x2, they proved they got a shit hot team in the euros, france no longer a all round stong team, argentina have goot attack but crap defence brazil are one of them teams play great football but cant get the job done. an germany are just germany.

im feeling a suprise from one of the african teams, maybe ivory coast.

and my other favourite after england would be holland. some super players. then brazil.

i dont like portugal/spain/argentina/italy/france they are all girls/cheats who give it out but cant take it, no idea why those countries always seem to have those charactistics but they do.

yeah i think the expectations could hurt rooney after all he was a wonderkid at everton and again at the united first season etc. but then he hada few were he was average(great player still but average seasons) until last season where he filled his boots and was carrying uniteds title challenge.

i wouldnt be so sure that rooney will light up the world cup.

he hasnt the ability to do what other strikers tend to do on a poor day and hide upfront and get themselves subbed. if england cant get the ball to him he'll spend half the match in midfield ruining any chance of a goal and probably picking up a yellow card or two in the process.

hope him and gerrard really link up though.

spain have won the last 3 games 1-0 and i expect the same again, you could see in the last game that its very difficult to get the ball off spain but if you look at the spain chile game, you can catch spain out on the break and with some1 like robben around theyll find it difficult but still win
