Wrong fuel

Accidently put LRP in my tank instead of unleaded.

Whats best thing?

Just top it up with unleaded??

it wants draining then mate , and really it wants the fuel filter changing and the pipes flushing out .

do that, but when its all gone, change the fuel filter.

lrp shouldnt make to much difference to the engine, unlike diesel, but just dont cane it as the damage you do will be either a lambda sensor and/or cat.

Theres no need to change the filter, But if it hasnt been changed in a while id advise it anyway.

Got brand new filter in it. Will just go top it up with unleaded then.

Got me worried then when u said have to drain it all.

Its saturday and no where to do that. hehe

lrp isnt a problem, its petrol with lead int it (not lead now though obviously)

the only damage it will do to your engine is possibly kill the lambda sensor and or cat.

lead engines actually run colder than unleaded, its just not good for the above things. but it will clean your injectors and fuel system nicely

yeah i didnt think it would do serious damage. will just take it easy then and top it up. Thanks guys
