Its all blatant profiteering as far as I'm concerned. Companies like Haliburton and KBR have made a lot of money from "the war on terror".

well the reason i said that was because im a muslim and im sick of people saying 'islamic extremists' bla bla bla. The reason why you guys are in Afghanistaan is because of America right? sorry for making that daft remark, didnt mean to offend you mate. I just dont like the way little bush can just send tens of thousands of you guys into a country just to end up gettin killed while hes sat on his big fat leather arm chair smoking a cigar getting drunk the dickhead. Im not even going to bother going into the 'weapons of mass destruction'

No worries, i can understand your frustration. Lets not point out the fact that the majority of people "responsible" for 9/11 were from Saudi. Saudi/Afghanistan, whats the difference right?? Oh yeah, quick question, anyone know who trained the Taliban? Would that be America? I could go on but I think I'd throw up.

I think we all know that the war on terror is about oil and money. Even still, it's ridiculous to say that the US government made 9/11 happen.

Bin laden was trained by America until they had some sort of fall out and started calling him a terrorist, America funded all of the taliban lot and trained thm up to the spec they are now. If anything 'terror' related happens they blame the mulsims who funnily enough live in the middle eastern countries where funnily enough is rich in oil. They gain the support and create hatred towars the muslims so it doesnt look bad when Bushi sends his troops over to take all the oil/money

They may well have not made it happen but they certainly didn't try very hard to stop it. Why is it completely unthinkable that America would do something like that?

if Bush can sent 10,000 troops into Iraq and if he has the say over pretty much any country, course he can do it to his own land. The guys on a serious power trip. Its inevitable that one day someone will retaliate and give him a good beating. 2 thirds of the world disagree with him yet he dont give a shit and does it anyway

did anybody see feirenheit 9/11 on channel 4 last night?

now thats a serious documentary and make me feel pretty sick to be honest.

all makes sense too.. i suggest all of you that are intrested in this situation because it certainly opens your eyes, i never new that bush is basically funded by the bin ladens lol.. every single company bush has been related with so has the bin ladens. Also 24 members of bin ladens family lived in america and 3 days after the attacks america got them all on a plane and sent them back 2 saudi arabia.. how kind of mr bush?

i believe bush knew bin laden had planned it all and turned a "blind eye" to it.. for the "greater" cause for america. Bush didnt even wanna go into afghanistan he wanted to go straight into iraq for the oil but when everybody said wait a second why iraq when it was afghanistan? he had no choice but to go threw afghanistan first then move to iraq.

its amazing how hes fooled everyone so much. why do you think they are hanging around in iraq for such a long time? why not just leave now that the war is "over". its because they need to extract every little last bit of oil from the country before they leave.

and why do you think theyve never been able to find bin laden?

probably because hes got his own little island somewhere being waited on hand and foot living life of luxury while america are supposedly hunting him down lmao. ridiculous. Rant over.

Having said that though Islam (just like anything else) does have its bad side. People like Abu Hamza for instance. Its not all one sided hate mongering from Bush, people like Abu Hamza reciprocate and make matters worse.

would love to seebush on the battle field. Maybe because hes sat on his arse he thinks its easy to shoot someone. where as someone like hutch would probs shoot someone as a last resort if his life was in danger. Its not easy to point a shooter at someone and blast them

lets just leave the arguing for now and just remember how many families were torn apart on 9/11 you have all yr round to argue/discuss what you believe of the day but on the day they died just show a lil respect.

RIP

hey come on guys i dont think this is the place, to throw conspiracys around, this i feel is more of a rememberence thread.

my brother is over in iraq fighting at the moment, and will be based in afganistan after xmas, and it does upset me when people throw conspiracy and accusations around.

at the end of the day wots done is done, we cant change back time, so lets move on.

EDIT- kelly got there first.

I think I'm more than entitled to air my opinion. I may not have lost any family on the day or in any subsequent conflict but having been to iraq and dealt first hand with the consequences gives me more of an insight than some one who sits there watching TV saying "oooh isn't it terrible".

And I'm sorry Kelly but you can hardly throw the "show respect" card around when you didn't even realise the date!

yea, 6 years, ubelievable really - regardless of beliefs, it IS a huge loss, and one which has undoubtedly changed the world as we know (and not for the better).

For all you conspiracy buffs out there :

www.zeitgeistmovie.com

Worth a watch, it's very interesing, lots of nice information in it, take it with a pinch of salt and you'll see theres a LOT more to the whole situation than meets the eye. (I'm not saying america did it or anything, i've my own opinion, but i'm not up for sharing it after some of the retarded comments made on the matter here, i'm not having a dig at anyone, lots of valid and interesting points have been made too).

When your opinion is being compared against somebody else's and its bringing the thread down i think as a moderator im allowed to ask you to stop it, which i did politley!

Just coz you yourself have been to Iraq you shouldnt keep using this point, you have no idea on the background of other members on here. Ppl could have experienced far worse.

I think i can ask to show respect just because i havent taken note of todays date coz its my day off work, and ive been busy running around taken my son to his family and nursery does not mean im being disrespectful.

I don't understand what I'm being asked not to do. I'm in full agreement thats its a very bad thing that happened and the resulting aftermath have left a very dark stain in history. Are the pics in the original post respectful BTW? I'm sure the pic of the guy falling is a very upsetting picture for the family of that person and I think it was used in very bad taste. Maybe that set the tone for the thread?
