I used the cartoon thing as an example of why I dont understand muslim leaders. They are quite vocal when they want to be but at times I would expect them to be they are silent and thats worrying. I mean if you dont say you are against something that is very serious and is being carried out in the name of your beliefs then does that not say you agree with it?

I do agree that if a muslim believes they should not see the face of one of their prophets etc it is totally within their right to believe that and I am respectful of peoples beliefs... but I have freedom of speech so if I want to print something or draw something dont threaten my life.. because if I want to draw something or express myself that is my right so I should be afforded equal respect.

I personally think that is one of the main reasons for the hatred towards americans by people from the east. Americans will not let go of their freedom of speech and their belief that if they want to say something they can. I like how I have seen signs hanging on gates in Florida which say "beware there is nothing in this house that is worth more than your life" ... I mean thats saying come in uninvited and I am going to shoot you and what the hell is wrong with that? I think for some people though everything that america stands for is like a kick in the teeth... especially those repressed nations in the east.

Again I will go back to muslim views on homosexuals etc.. whilst I dont choose that way of life and I dont think that it is natural by any means what right have I got to pass judgement on any person and what they choose to do in their own home? But this is yet another thing muslims look at and consider wrong - who the hell are you to judge anyone? Live and let live is my moto and to afford people the same level of respect you would like to receive regardless of their beliefs but in the muslim world it appears that you either live by our beliefs or you are wrong.

And to say that muslim women are treated equal in eastern countries is a lie plain and simple.

Faisal this is a question for you seing as you seem to have a great understanding of everything.

I went out with my friend for his 21st Birthday last Friday. We went to a club where allot of different cultures go.

I was outside waiting to get into the club with my friends when a group of Muslims tell us to get out of the way. I found this very rude but let it go because i didnt see the point in ruining my friends birthday.

After we had been in the club a while another group of Muslims walked past my mate barging into him as they went past, then staring at him, but again we let it go.

As the night went of we decided to go for a dance we were happily dancing away when another Muslim barges into us and just stares.

Now by this time i was getting very angry but was told by my friends to leave it.

All of my friends i was with that night were white and i personally feel we were singled out because of that.

Now if the tables were turned and it was me giving the abuse i would be being had up for being racist.

I have decided to no longer go to the club because of the abuse we got that night and is that really fair?

Why not jump on the bandwagon here, do you know that people in Aghanistan hate the taliban and al queda, the tribes can handle their affairs without any problem until the money grabbing/drub dealing bastard taliban come in (many of whom are not even from afghanistan) and fuck their proud country up.

Many of the fighters in afghanistan are not even from the country, come from pakistan, becuase its a free for all (and they get paid cash bounty, their beliefs are bullshit, they only care about money and themselves). The reason this is such a big issue to me is that I know a girl from iran who has moved here and converted to christinity. She has had threats from people that if she goes home she will be murdered as she is now an infidel, she also has been told that there are people here who are looking for her.
