OMG you really watch too much TV and read all those conspiracy stories. Of course the americans know they had WMDs, because the americans gave them to iraq years ago when they were working together, saddam used them on the kurds and his own people. As for afghan opium, pure opium is used for medical purposes the world over, we need opium production for this (not just to get smacked up).
