is it easy to take out?

cheers :) could it be that the actuator is too stiff and the wastegates struggling to open? its pickling me lol actuator is off a tongs hybrid which is going on the car brave and soon lol

i have and fcd and was told to turn it off if its boosting standard but it will not run i jus fitted an adjustable actuator and it is boosting 11psi ive the fcd set at 6 should i turn it up more or wat? am scared of tampering too much cheers :)

no problem... cheers... il leave it off for now.. was thinking ai autosport to set it up, need a cheap one as work aint as busy as i would like it to be... any starlet specialists?

and would it be safe to drive for a wee wile taking it easy? want to test the turbo and see if its ok but a loada hassle changing them off and on lol

brilliant jay, cheers, wat you think of the tongs? good turbo? swapped it for a td04 kit lol could u recomend anyone local to do it, i live in larne like so il be willing to travel about to get someone cheap enough but knows what they are doing as i have spent a clean fortune getting the car...

ah ryt cheers, how much does it cost these days to get that done? would prob get it pushed up to 170-180 if i was going to the hassle of getting it checked lol

if i turn the fcd to 0 will my car run? i was thinkin should be able to go up a wee bit on the boost without getting it set up lol

no difference mate... all exactly the same.... maybe a few sensors if any... but its handy enough as i put one into a uk car

hi, ive had this fuel pump lying around for nearly a year and was wondering if i put it in will i need to get it set up or will the car do that for me? cheers :homer:

happy days mate.... music to my ears lol cheers... i took that bit off the bulk head my old car lol then scrapped it and thought the load sensing valve was on the back axle lol cheers again :)

im doing this aswell mate, ive took all the non abs bits off my old one before it went to scrap... it seems handy enough altho im trying to figure out where the load sensing valve is to stop the back brakes locking up, im hoping its in the bit in the block on the bulk head as it is all i have...

i am removing the abs in my car and am wondering does the brake bit on the bulk head equalise the pressure on the back brakes to stop them locking up or is there a load sensing valve elsewhere like back axle or somthing cheers :homer:

td04 turbos sorta fecked cuz its been lying so long so am giving him my standard one... the td04 has a 2.5 inch down pipe... u cud hear the petrol jus dropping into it lol iv went through tht many ct9's on my car im jus hopin the hybrid will sort it out and be reliable.... lol

no mate.... runnin a standard ct9 atm jus.... td04 too hard on fuel...

i have been offered a swap for a speedvision gen 2 turbo kit for my td04 kit... anybody knw what these are like as ive heard bad stories about hybrids... il be lukin to run at about 180bhp... no interest in going higher as its quick enough... cheers :homer:

there is alot of play in my td04 turbo up down and in and out.... is this normal? i can get my hands on a td05 compressor... if i put this on would i have to get it rebalanced?
