I'm thinking of doing my own DIY air filter relocation kit to the front grill on my ep82.and I would like no filter and just say some mesh gauze fabricated into a circle and fit that into the end of my silicone pipe..obv it's not going to filter aswell.what will the pro's and Cons be of this setup?

As title I'm thinking they are something to do with the air conditioning.but my car has had the ac removed so if so would it be ok to just unplug them and block the vacuum lines up that come off the intake manifold?
