OK so got the car back last Saturday (16.04.2011) drove it home it was fine apart from the steering being hard to turn because the steering pump wasnt connected.
Well the pump was installed yesterday the steering is good...let the car warm up a bit then rev it a little and it started smoking...

there are two earthing wires behind the middle console, where does the both of them connect. if there is already a thread on this please link me to it. i currently have one completely disconnected and need to get it reconnected
When removing the engine head/cylinder head the intake bolts are shorter than the exhaust side bolts
what would happen if you mix up these bolts like...
you put in ten of the long exhaust bolts...5 intake side 5 exhaust side
or you put in 10 short intake bolts 5 intake side 5 exhaust side...
jus started cleanin my engine bay 2day to get the gasket nd cylinder head back in wen i notice this crack. i dont know what part this is tho so can anyone identify this part and its importantance

lookin to replace my head gasket. i found this thread^^with replacing the orgine 4efte gasket with a 2e one. wen i removed the gasket from my car last week i noticed some of the ports in the head were covered i can post pics if needed would...

i recently warped the engine head of my 4efte engine bcus of an old headgasket and was considering buyin a new head but then i was told to shave d head den i heard if the head isnt shaved rite it wudnt fit properly...so i need sum help wich is betta shave the head or replace wit a used 4efe head...
am new to the site bin gettin a lot of info from the site so i decided to join.
