Neither can I TBH. £3,250 is a stupidly low price IMO, even with the faults, which are listed. :(

Going to look into getting her fixed now, which is going to fuck things up as I was hoping to sell her and pick up the new car at the end of the week. :(

omg that is cheap

im sorry i snubbed this motor, but it wasnt quite what i was after,

have you thought about just getting the cv joint done, and not mentioning the possibility of the head gasket?

as you say it's not using water anymore, so the gasket must not be shot

It's all money spent that I'm not likely to see back TBH, besides, the next car is waiting for me to pay and pick up, so I don't really have time to mess about fixing her.

She does use water, but she hasn't actually overheated on the gauge. More than likely, it's gone. :(

No Gav, really, I won't. She's being sold, whether it's at a rock bottom price or whether it's at a higher price having been fixed.

Either way, she is going.
