One thing that I have to tell you guys:

I just move more to the East in Canada, too. And it is about 10 degrees colder here, than where I lived before. Everytime that I drive one of my Turbo Tercels (I have two) or my 1990 Celica 4WD Turbo, I feel that the power is getting stronger the more I get close to where I live right now. Altitude maybe? I beleive their is more oxygen in the air here too. Myself, just since the two weeks I live here, I feel that I breathe better! :)

I am happy that you guys gave me so much input! It gives me doubt. Without doubt, we can't go far in life. I will take this seriously and take the car to a REAL RR when I have the chance. Thanks a lot!

you may get slight performance advantages from having colder air bu as for altitude the higher you get the thinner the oxygen is so i dont think that would make it run any better !

Air pressure does make a huge difference I bought my car 110miles away from where i live and it was driving fine I got home and it was hitting constant fuel cut when boosting... I can't wait to see how accurate that machine of yours is at reading power figures.

yeah in winter mornings my engine management light used 2 come on warning me of fuel cut now since summer is arriving and temperatures are rising no sign of fuel cut warning:)

who said anything about going higher? dont make such quick assumptions allllll the time. altitude equals up and down.

mate i think your a very honest guy, most people would stick there guns to there machines and say no no no it really has got this much power, think u realise thats a high figure now alot of people have told you, so top man, get that car on a real rolling road, seems u take alot of care of that engine, looks clean

Nice result matey. The Thermal Ceramic Coating does make a difference, but it will be worth getting on a Rolling Road to get clarification foresure.

Anyways who cares about the figure as long as you felt a difference when you fitted it that is all that counts ;), its how it runs on the road that counts and it would seem you are happy with that so all is well :)

Oh yeah, Everybody should buy this piece of magical engineering.

For the altitude question: I meant that I was very close to the Ocean level. I live right beside a large River (St-Lawrence) that goes in the Ocean. So low altitude means more oxygen... I beleive this is what is happening.

And for Dane: I doesn't really matter to me how it behaves on the road, but it does matter to me ON THE TRACK! I will use this car for Lapping. Last year, I was able to keep the momentum against a Lotus Elise (behind me, always getting further). The guy was pissed. I got Rookie of the Year in my club, for that. The Tercel just blows everybody's mind. With the new caster settings, this year and more power, this should be a monster killer! :slap:

Track is a good thing.

My Tercel is almost only for track use now... Not so streetable anymore, with the 400lb/in springs in front and 340lb/in in the back...

I am going back, soon, to the first track that I have ever went on. It's a superb track built on sand. The owner says it will never get deteriorating! It is especially made for motorcycles and small cars (like Starlets, Paseos and Tercels) We will be many Tercels there, unlike last year, I was the only one.

Here is a pic of me on that track from last year:

And this is the track (just to make you drool!;)):

This event will be on the 10th of May. I will have in car videos and outside too. I'll keep you update on that!

whaa the foooook  thats some track!.

if ure tracking it all the time, may be an idea to get some lighter rimmage on the car mate, they look like big'ol heavy lumps, should help ure handling and unsprung weight

Yes, they are HEAVY, but they are also unkillable. And as I learn, I like better to have something undestructable than breaking brand new wheels because of abuse. The Falken Azenis RT-615 that I run are also very heavy. It's in my plans but not a priority, as I just moved and don't have a job... I do want I can, with what I have. I am able of a lot, anyway, without spending. Just to play on small adjustments...

Thanks for the input anyway, it reminds me that I will have to do that when possible!

Yes this is some nice Track! Last year, that event was my first in a lifetime lapping day. I learned a lot about the car, myself and about how to behave on a track since then. In two weeks, it should be awesome.

Here is a video (crappy) that a friend took of me making a nice wheel spin and enjoying the track at that place. He should take a lot nicer ones this year, as he bought a new video camera!

Well just to give you an idea. i'm using a blitz power meter. it reads 304bhp out of mine and i have a simular setup to yours. so i personally wouldn't take them figures as 100% true
