He said he's coming with 4or5 people as he has 4or5 cars to collect and drive back.

I'm kinda thinking, if he intended to do me over, would he not just have said, i'm coming by myself etc as to not get me worried....or maybe he knew i would think that and its a double bluff!! :p

Get someone or a couple of people to be with you (body builders if possible :p)

and you can go to the bank with him to check all the cash.... and if he dosent want to do that.... then dont accept. Alot of people do this anyway, its expected when handing over thousands of £££

sorry its a bit far for me to go lewis :p lmao

at then end of the day, if u feel summits dodgy when he arrives etc, walk away, allways trust ure gut with these things i rekon.

Take a few mates with you, like 2 cars full of people! Meet at a busy petrol station, get one of those pens, count and check each note properly, make sure you get his details etc. etc....don't know what else you could do to protect yourself! I'm guessing he has come over the UK for a JDM shopping spree! lol

het mate.. there are many people from malta dribiong to the UK with lorries picking up cars for maltese people etc. but normaly the client will fly to see the car. but anyway i can think of one person that had a glanza and got a teg.. did he sound like maltese or had an english accent? send me the name of the guy and maybe the number he called you from so i can do some search fro you.

if the deal is hapnin at ure house make sure the car is at a friends so u av to take him by himself to see the car and complete the deal.

You could take him to a bureau de change and ask them to check the money for you if you have one near by you which Im sure you will and they usually stay open later than the bank.
Failing that you could get one of those marker pens and check the notes but make usre to check them all not just one as there may be a few proper notes on the top and bottom.
Also you could ask your bank what else you could do to protect yourself against dud notes im sure they will know every trick in the book.lol.
Also surely he cant expect to collect 4 or 5 cars in one day he would at least need to stay overnight so he can see the car around 6pm-7pm and then meet again the next day and go to the bank with you???
Seems a bit strange alright but Glanza's are hard to come by in Malta for the money we sell them so it would be worth his while to do this as he will make a good profit I would say especially a Glanza like yours buddy as its mint.
Good luck with it and just keep your head as its very hard to turn down that kind of money in cash but remember its worthless if its fake.

i think the guys is not trying to screw him! :) hes just a guy that makes his livving like this.. (gets cars from the UK for people at a charge)

if he was trying to screw him why would he say that he will be with 4 more friends?

maybe so he would not drive away when he saw 4 people waiting to buy his car. so by telling him "im coming with 4 mates" ,makes the seller less aware of being robbed coz he expects people to be there. if he didnt tell him he was coming with 4 mates im sure when the seller sees them all, he would think fuck this im off.
