it's salvage, full boost just before 5k but pulls like mad all the way to you hit the limiter, torque steer all over the road, and exhaust sounds bloody mad:p

nice one abbott :beer: told ya theres more power in that turbo ;) thats around 260 wheel power..:cool: whats changed on the car since he last dyno'd it? wasnt it around 260bhp before?

Gee looking at both graphs its not the best way of comparing but you can see below that the TD04 takes a little longer to reach peak power where at Abbots is reaching it quicker. There is not much difference low down though.

I looked at your graph with the 275bhp atf.

Abbot makes 100 bhp atf @ 3750
Gee you make 100 bhp atf @ 3800

Abbot makes 200 bhp atf @ 4900
Gee you make 200bhp atf @ 4400

Abbot makes 275 bhp atf @ 5900
Gee you make 275 bhp atf @6500

Of course power delivery on the road will be different so its really hard to say as they are pretty close.

On the road it will feel totally different though.

thanks guys for the comments. the way it performs on the road is great even if its low figures at the wheels at tdi hub dyno it made 228whp at 1.3 bar 6 weeks ago.
Dan- all what ive changed is boost controller 8.8mm leads and pauls had more of a play with the map its still at 1.5bar same boost as last time

Is this not saying something with regards to the accuracy of the Rolling road at Engine Advantages then out of interest would you say?

As long as its spot on the road mate it don't matter as long as you are happy which is evident :)

it is strange but rolling roads do differ. hub dynos are spose to be more spot on. But like i said it drives very well on the road

yeah rubbish accuracy,

as with all rolling roads though, the mapper can play about with it and make the result higher than it should be by adjusting the losses etc etc etc.

it's possible that this was done.

but as said as long as abbot is happy with it then all is good :)
