Anyone running speedvision injectors?

Std injectors with a Unichip will support 230/240 bhp

say i only plan to keep the standered CT-9 run at 1bar with supporting mods (fuel/exhaust etc) would the standered injectors be well enough? i'm running 7M 315cc injectors now without an issue.....should i go back?

I am running 1bar with standard injectors as are a lot of people so I dont see why you would need to change them :)

if it's running fine then leave it mate :) i'm still running stock injectors at the moment too but will be fitting 330's soon enough, these are speedvision items too.

I am also planning on running water/methanol injection above 5psi and i got the 7M's to sort of over compensate for the moment till i get a real mani and tune. I guess when i get mapped i can see how close to maxed out the injectors are

Are the Speedvision 550cc injectors from the RX7? If so, I'm pissed and don't want them!

Dont RX7's only run 2 injectors? like a 550cc and a 850cc secondary? So these are 4 of the primary injector?

i think its gonna be lumpy watever happens gee, dont forget piggybacks wont iron out the lumpyness completely!!

ive got the 460s from the tx7 and they work great.. very smooth apart from if you hold the throttle in the same position for a long amount of time it has a slight jerk

I was not made aware they are from the RX7. I have a standalone ECU not a piggyback.

Yes, dont seem to have problems and did make 275hp, but no wonder the tuner had issues with the juddering. He and I did not know they were RX7 injectors.

exactly, weve been advised by many local tuners that fd injectors are a big nono on internal combustion engines.. best go for sard 550cc's

which i dont get as ur using a k24 so technically 330cc's would be sufficient at 3.2bar fuel pressure...

then again u brits & ur tuners tend to go for over safe af's... so that explains all the need of all the access fuel...

hybrid correct me if i am wrong but i know fd injectors are denso and denso makes injectors for sard which is the identical thing unless the spray pattern is different which i doubt?

SARD make direct fit, high indepence injectors for the 4EFTE.

Does not mention they also compatible with any Mazda's, so may be different? Really should of been informed they were from a Mazda and I probably would of passed. Does not seem to be any concrete info if they cause issues or not. Some say yes, some say no. And to be safe with my fueling and forged engine, I would of said no.

I use rx7 injectors too, and dont have this problem, there is a step in the throttle, if you re off the throttle completely and then press it slightly it will jerk slightly, i know exactly why that is on my car and its down to the size of the injectors and the map.

What has Engine Tuner said about the use of the RX7 injectors/flow/pattern etc and them being used on a 4EFTE?

It is not yesterday i started to sell injectors Gee and u also know that..the part where i should inform u its from a mazda rx7 is really not my fault as everyone who comes to me for 330,460 and 550 ask if there in stock and how much for a set...and thats the answers i give them..i have no problem in letting the customers know its mazda injectors...from anyone since our old forum will know i advertised mazda injectors...or whoever wants to know either i tell them or another member who knows and responds to it..

in the old forum also it was disputed about madza injectors having a different spray pattern and many disagree becuz they used it for yrs without problems..so up to this date we dont kno who to believe and who not to....

hey sam, yes u are correct, however sard change the pin on the injectors they also alter something else in the jet (cant remember offhand)..

the rx injectors where designed to "flood" the rotary with fuel as it guzzes up fuel on lower rpms to keep stable, unlike an internal combustion engine...

yes the spay & flow pattern of the injectors is different, in fact even the lag time is different :)

when fd's go for big power they dont use the stock rails, they swap to usually a set of sard rails, which doesnt use the stock side feed 850cc's but instead converts to a set of top feed injectors..

so no u cant expect that rhd would claim these injectors fit on a mazda... unless of course using the sard fuel rails.. however the 550cc's would be the primery ones on lol.. ;)

Gee, enginetuner havent said anything because i setup the injector cycles, just went to the the car tuned for max performance and fine tuning. as far as im concerned the car runs fine with rx7 injectors, i cant see any negative effects with them. I get 35mpg in the car with a mix of motorway/short and spirited driving

i also never had any problems with my map, my tuner never mentioned anything about the afr being all over the place and it was perfectly normal..

Never skimp on injectors, surely after the head gasket problems you are going to spend the money first thing round?? Not being rude at all Kelly just don't cut corners, if money is tight be patient :) Spray patterns are very important don't just buy a set of injectors because they "fit" could be the last thing you do..

Toby i think you owe me an apology:p if you read my replies above these are not on our cars but a friends. I put the post up on his behalf as he didnt have internet access.
