The glanza v auto gear boxes must be pretty strong. As i also have an auto V! And ive given mine a mega thrash, and its still running strong! Only have 150hp tho. Dunno what it would be like with more.

Never fit a fcd without installing a fpr as it will run lean and blow up your motor the fuel cut is there for safety so you don't blow the engine remove it and goodbye engine

I was thinking if it's running rich below fuel cut then fitting a fcd and turning bost up slightly above fc would be alright, but i suppose it's running rich as standard for a reason.

If it's running rich as standard would it be safe to fit a fuel cut defender and turn the boost up to say 13-14psi without fitting a rrfpr?

No-one in their right mind would advise that due to the consequences of getting it wrong mate. Each car reacts differently to modification and so you can appreciate the need for caution.

Fitting a FCD tricks the ECU to avoid fuelcut. This reduces the fuelling as a side effect. It is not safe to just fit one without checking your fuelling immediately afterwards.

Basically the FCD makes the ECU think it is running lower boost than what it actually is. This means your ECU will fuel less compared to stock readings. As you can guess this can be a bad thing.

After modifying always get the Air/Fuel ratio checked mate, otherwise things can get messy - I know only too well! :D

My current power mods are HKS CBE and Apexi Air filter. I have a Blitz Decat but I am afraid of putting it on without any Engine Managment. Can I install it and be o.k. or is it necessary to get EM?
