point to remember is a 350bhp 4e will probably only hit full boost at 5000rpm, so could in theory be slower on the road than a 250bhp k24/td04. has anyone said what a 4e engine with 350-380bhp is for? must be drag racing otherwise this is just pub talk

of course it would b no more than a drag car/dyno queen... there is no need to have power from 5000rpm up unless its a drag car.... or u like revving the tits off ur car on the track....

i have a gt2860rs and it goes on the track everynow and again and it boosts at 4500 but it screams all the way to 10000rpm so i got a very large powerband

a vf22 is a bigger turbo though than the vf35, i cant see ted having too much trouble on his engine probably no laggier than the vf24.

like the scooby guys complain about the lag of a vf22 on a 2litre engine¬!!

well vf 22 is a true 400bhp turbo its massive lol.

just i think the vf35 is deffo going to be laggier than a 24 as the 24 is only a 320bhp tops turbo really. if it isnt hten excellent i'll get one myself lol

Offcource if you want 350-380hp on a starlet chassis will be for drag use and not for collecting the kids from school.:p
A 250bhp k24/td04 can be quicker only when low speed cornering or braking..LoL (just kidding) (but im serius):haha::haha:

exhaust housing is smaller on the vf35 than the vf24. compressor side slightly bigger but compressor wheel is a weird shape, hoping its no worse than the 24.

it has had extensive headwork.... the valves that went in are stainless i think supra valves? (i cant remember) alot of porting and using the stock manifold with a bored out throttle body and a new butterfly plate..... exact specs on the cams i cant b certain but it is hell lumpy im sure the guy that built it said the cams were 280+ duration but i think it is going to b tamed down a bit soon... my nearest drag strip is now 1000km away and the nearest race track is almost 2000km away

who ever said i didnt fit it all myself? i built the entire bottom end myself and i would have done the head but i had something else going on at the time....

i build motors for other people in my spare time and have built myself plenty of sr20's and also built myself a 1000hp 2jz ;)

i just got the parts for the starlet of another guy who had one cranking out some big power and was parting it out.... so i dont know exact numbers on the cams big woop....

i also own a few other cars one with a 6 litre v8 and some other stupid little brap brap toys that are 1.3 litre capacity....

i dont always have time to do the work myself ;) u know when ya work 60 hours a week and work away from home for 2-3 months at a time its a bit hard

im guessing it didnt last very long with stock internals....
Lasted for several years as it was a daily driver. Car ran 11 seconds and then was sold to Cayman where it broke their drag records.

The reason for the pen is that the dyno sheets are so old they've faded a bit. As you can clearly see from the date on them, it was done b4 this site was even a significant presence.
