a bit of wheelspin wont make "much" difference.

trap speed is a far more accurate gauge of power than a rr without doubt

Have to disagree with that.
A well set up car (suspension, chassis work) with less power could be quicker on 1/4 mile quicker than a car with big power!
What's been asked here is what's the most powerful, not the quickest!

Contrary to public opinion, trap speed doesn't vary much between between a run with excellent traction and a run with rubbish traction. Interestingly your trap speed can go DOWN when you go quicker. Generally a run with wheelspin will result in higher trapspeeds.

Trap speed is an excellent measure of power to weight, the actual ET is fairly irrelevant when talking about pure power figures. You're not wrong, a lower power but well set up car can be QUICKER but not FASTER. There is a distinction.

that depends though aswell.... with the same mods i have run a 108mph run and also a 118 mph run.... with the 118 i launched fairly softly and just put it in 2nd and gunned it from there.... the 108 was just wheelspin city....spun well past half track 10mph is a fairly big difference

ahh someone's with me :) you added one thing that i forgot! the weight!!
all i was saying to the others is that with the weight & trap speed you'l get a more reliable & consistent gauge of power than you would over a rr.
