I wouldn't have been happy paying for racing and only getting 70mins!

Grip was an absolute joke, I dunno why it was so bad, even way up the track I was still spinning up.

@Nolly, can't put her on the Dyno now, she's got no ECU lol!!! Taking a wee gamble, but it's a good gamble :) bye bye stock map sensors!

ahhhhhhhhh sure theirs your problem no ecu :haha:

Just noticed why my car has been dropping off boost and feeling a wee bit slower of boost. Found a big crack round where the ext gate pipe leaves the manifold. Will be sorted today though. There's me blaming the relocation kit lol

Yea it does seem to be the right time to get in to it. Can't really complain bout my time as everyone struggled with grip yesterday for some reason and I know a bit more practice will go a long way.

I've been on to chris for the last three weeks to get it remapped lol I can understand he's very busy at the minute tho so I'll just be patient and I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

I know who put that in your head, due to someone else trying it but half arsing it lol.

A diff will see big changes to grip and as Spuddy says, your times will drop loads. If you can find 2 wheels you could be better getting a second hand set of slicks for racing only.

Only just noticed this, yea that could be a good idea with the spare wheels and slicks. Won't have a diff in by the 6th June but ill still be hoping for a high 13 which would be respectable.

I've just realised that if I hold the car on the limiter in 2nd and then hit 3rd it pulls so much better than it would if I change just before the limiter in 2nd. Usually it seems to lag a bit in third which I'm guessing is due to wheelspin at the end of 2nd gear and holding it on the limiter for a wee bit puts it right on the power in third.

Would something as simple as the above help with times a bit? Hoping to get plenty of practice and try out new things.

Yea something as simple as that could make all the difference.

If your feeling really brave, dont take your foot off the throttle when u use the clutch, but only do this if u don't mind repairing the box :) it'll get u some tasty times though.

Cool I'll give it a go and see how the times react. Really looking forward to the next one now and should have a final map on the car this week or next week at the latest I would think.

I mite consider trying that as I'm keeping an eye out for a LSD gearbox anyways. :) would maybe just do 3rd to 4th tho.
