@chris - i got windows 7 on now, its quick but so confusing! lol thats with onboard gfx lol - i ordered the parts from www.ebuyer.co.uk every day they have deals on certain parts! www.aria.co.uk www.microdirect.com and tekdirect.co.uk are also very competative!

I cant even remember where I downloaded it from. You should be able to find it online somwhere I would say. Im at work so cant search torrent sites to find it for you and waiting for my new XPS laptop to come before I can get online at the house. Dont worry when I get it I will hook you guys up.
I have it here on CD and its amazing trust me. Yeah Sheldon thats the one basically it was created by a developer who ripped out all the shit you dont need in windows and there is alot of it and added in a flah screen so you can manually install loads of free software which shouldnt be free.lol.
It really does run a dream like I built a machine for my gran and all it has is a gig of memory,shitty dual core and 80GB drive and its nearly 2 years old and boots in around 1 minute to the desktop ready to go.
The best way to go with OS is ones that are made by people not companies. The likes of Microsoft etc load OS with alot of shit they dont even need to run just because they think they need.
Yes mate all you have to do is boot off your Windows disc and create 2 partitions install Windows on one and then reboot and intsall Linux on the other.
As for product keys it doesnt even ask you for one. Are people still suing them:haha: You can easily get rid of the product key from normal windows also by removing the correct strings from the registry.

I dunno if I'd trust something like XP Nemesis tbh...you have no idea of what the "developer" may have hidden amongst the tweaks he/she has made. Could easily use it to log what you do etc. I'd be worried about using it for on-line banking, Facebook etc.
I definitely say give W7 Ultimate a go. Its ridiculous just how much faster it is than Vista. And its not just the speed, you can do everything you could do in Vista and more. I really like it!

got home computer parts arrived wasted no time took old crap out and put the new stuff in, and its running like an absoloute dream, was a bit worried when the gfx card had a red light on saying it wasnt proply powered but got that sorted go me!
Bonus the gfx card came with a free full version of assains creed
