Distinctive Cars in York - Honda S2000

Suppose we could go up another notch and look at the NSX... wave one of those under anyones nose on here and they would probably sell their granny for one!

I'd probably still opt for the S2 and spend the savings on some forced induction. Wasn't really impressed with the few NSX I've driven, although only ever on the road.

As I said to you earlier Dane, if they're well maintained there's not much to worry about. They run pretty rich though from cold, so if only used for short journeys, the plugs can easily foul up and cause non/poor starting and misfire issues. We also used to get a common issue with the injectors sticking closed on new cars sat in stock. Many a time we'd have to go out to a non starter somewhere in the compound and either tap the fuel rail with hammer, or pull the plugs out and clean them up so the thing could be loaded onto a truck and then sent out to a dealership.

I'd go and test one out for size though, I find S2000's to be a little too snug for long distance journeys.

Why not go up to Bristol Honda and take this one out for a blast:

Yeah all standard.

I have this episode in English, can't be assed looking for it on YouTube LOL

All about balance on the track, no just peak power. It did good :)

Just watched the video to the end, this is not the one I thought it was. There is another super car battle where the NSX leads for a while, but loses at the end. I'll try find it.

I just think it's a pretty little car.

Have you seen the TT Supra motor swap that's been done to one? Think it had around 900bhp...

That's not too excessive.

S2's are cool cars, I don't use it much but its always good to drive, DYC are pretty good.

Be sure to HPI them all as 4 out of the 5 cars i looked at had been crashed!

3 of which were on the register.

I'd be a little put off by this if buying an import as you don't know its history, but as long as its been repaired well it'll be a cool car :)

They handle really well, they wouldn't make a very good drift car though, but go sideways pretty easy, but hard to sustain big drifts.

The later 1s had a revised suspension setup, but this was only as far as a few little tweaks, nothing major.

Dane, ye, with Imports though u won't know the history really, but cars that i've seen repaired in japan have been done to a high level.

Yeah nice one guys.

Found out it has an uprated rear LSD aswell but not sure on make. Buddyclub Suspenion so i am sure suspension should not be an issue. All and all looks like a mint car.

You would'nt be paying 2200 on tax its a 2 litre it will only be around 800 it will be on the old system as would'nt be a new car.
