You would'nt be paying 2200 on tax its a 2 litre it will only be around 800 it will be on the old system as would'nt be a new car.

If the car is not already on Irish plates you will have to tax it under the new Co2 system.

If the car is already on Irish plates and was registered before July '08 you pay under the old system of engine size
