Damn that slam panels bent upwards - Would of been able to get it pushed back really easily if it wasnt for that.

Headlight masks wonkey aswell, That might be a issue when it comes to MOT time for headlight alignment.

All you really need is to get the slam panel and headlight mask cut off, Rest of it straightened using a Hydraulic pump and then get a new slam panel and headlight mask welded in. Its light damage, Hardest part of repairing it would be finding the parts.

Iv repaired worse cars.

Could get that sorted cheaply if you find someone breaking a GT.

Is that a Corolla GTI in the background of the before pic?

What tools are you using m8? Hammer and wood lol

See if you can borrow a hydraulic pump of someone. Its a peice of piss using one of them and it will come out 100% accurate with a bit of thinking.

I doubt youl be able to get the headlight mask peoperly welded on to that as it wonky and not the correct dimensions atm?

Stick at it tho, Looks like youv got abit of expirience.

Il give you a tip to getting it accurate, find someone with another GT and measure their engine bay from corner to corner (Diagonally), lenghtwise from the slam panel etc. Try and get everything within 3MM of the other guys engine bay then youl have it very accurate.

looks much worse than it is.

i reckon you can get that straight and aligned in one weekend, and another weekend to get it sprayed.

i had similar damage on my old fiesta, and me and my old man got it done

Oh yeah, to straighten up that wonkey edge (Were the wing bolts on to).

Get 2 pieces of wood on the bottom and top of the edge and get some G clamps holding the 2 peices there and tighten them up till its straight.

you would be better off cuting the bent bit out and getting another inner wing (thats not bent) and cut the same part that you did to get rid of the bent part of the inner wing, and weld the new peice to your existing inner wing.

you will get much much better alignment, it would probably take a bit longer, but would be well worth it

that was what i though about doing but i wasnt to sure how easy it could be done! I was worried that if it gets welded on wrong then nothing would go back on!!!

it would be ok if you got a guy who is a good welder and you had the new parts all ready so it can all be test fitted before it actually got welded.

the thing with straightening the bent wing is that it will never go back how it should, as metal stretches when it gets bent, specially how yours was/is bent.

it was just a suggestion of another route you could try
