this one time in my mates jordan the vtec kicked in, i felt like i had been transformed to a parrellel universe,

I have driven loads of cars, my personal car is the GT i built running (hopefully) about 200hp, and when ever i drive the civic i have it always puts a smile on my face, i know its not faster than the GT, but it is alot more fun. People say you gotta wait for the vtec to kick in but you can always dip the clutch and make the revs fly straight into vtec and it'l be straight in and once ya in vtec you can stay in vtec through out the gears...
Personally i would love to have both cars.

problem with dipping the clutch is....hey i feel a song coming on.......

dip it down low,pick it up slow.... blah blah,

basically if your having to dip the clutch your not really getting through anything but clutchs quickly.

i.e your going slow.

Kasam it is man, especially when ya be @ work all day, but that day i wasnt fasting and my car n your car was full of witnesses...lol

Well like the BMW M Power engines VTEC lumps are making 100bhp/litre which is very impressive for an N/A. Well, more than impressive lol.

And I think you guys are right about the small turbocharged engine coming back into fashion; new Renault GT Twingo and 1.2 Clio, few others as well I think. And to think, we already own the winning formula that could be the future of the hot hatch market :p lol.

gotta love Honda engineering all the same. Look at their bikes.. the blade... the africa twin.. even the 400 bros.. couriers drive them into the ground and they just keep going.

Interesting point on the future of the small hatch Chris... it just shows how ahead of their time our cars actually were!

Just the thread i needed. ek9 or a starlet gt??? Just bought my gt not so long ago, and now been offered a ek9 very cheap! In two minds now :confused:
