thats big money for an engine man, i could of got u a full glanza with a years test with that cash.

But your in Ireland tho so would have cost a lot more to get it shipped over to uk n get it mot'd n shite over here.

Such a shame It put a hole in the block otherwise you would have a spare engine to forge! when you drop the replacement in,

you still have the head which should be hopefully quite straight! get porting it lad! from the T/B onwards. it works magic on these heads.

Good luck with the replacement engine, keep us informed :)

Yeah, tis a shitter lols, tbh im just gunna take off the bits i can sell and then scrap the rest of it and hopefully make some money back off of that :)

I should recieve my replacement engine tomorra and then get it ftted in the up coming days hopefully :D

Just cant wait to get back behind the wheel of the glanza instead of the fiesta mi dad bought for me as a run around

Iv just removed the aircon pipes from th bulkhead but what do people use to block them up with because i dont really want two open pipes in my engine bay as it will look out of place and people will ask what is meant to be there.

So what do people use??

Leave them open buddy, you can remove them but its a pain in the ass! Its a fiddley behind the dash jobbie.

Yes you can fit a rubber cap :)
Actually you can use those rubber caps that goes onto metal pipe chairs as feet, lol hope this makes sense :D

Yeah I know what ur on about, like bar stool chairs?

I have received my engine today and I've stripped everything that's no use to me like the air-con and the automatic gearbox flywheel lol and then I'll strip off all the bits I want from my engine (with the hole in it) and put them on the replacement engine :D

Just can't wait till it starts to look like a Glanza again haha :D
Should be Friday when I get it in if all goes to plan

Yeah I know dude, Gunna get one next week before it goes in the car, can you recommend a decent cam belt to buy? Or is gates the one i should go for?
