does it boost past 0.8bar?? or cut out at that?
i know on the 82 fuel cut is harsh, but on 91 is ment to be very soft.

it may be worth speaking to nick at tuning developments re this -he knows his stuff about emb

What does your boost gauge read when the lamp comes on?

Usually it's a 'soft' fuelcut due to the cold weather.

Ye thats a problem the car does not have a boost gauge i ordered one the day i got the car but it has not arrived yet.

I have a receipt from the people who fitted the recon turbo a few months ago saying it was set to 0.65bar but without a boost gauge i have no solid proof of this.

I was not aware that fuel cut in a 91 felt different to a 82 because fuel cut in the 82 was very harsh so i was going by that.

You should really have a boost gauge bro, then you can see for yourself what it boosts to normally and if it creeps any under colder conditions. Might be worth popping one in for safety sake.

The fuelcut experience can differ depending on how hard you hit it. In some setups it'll be like hitting a brick wall and in others you may just touch it softly. There are a few reasons behind hitting it including a weak actuator so it's important to trace what is causing it.

Guys i need help

I was driving my car to work again and i took it easy and the engine managment light came on and it was holding back under acceleration.

Is there such a thing as the car ecu going into safe mode?

Maybe has something to do with the emanage?

If i disconnect the emanage will the car not start?

I need to car for work so i cannot afford to damage the engine so i am worried
