EP71 Igniter - anyone got one?

I hope you can help me – my (usually) trusty 1988 Turbo S Starlet (EP71) has seemingly got an igniter problem – or at least thats what I am told by the auto electrician.

I live in Zimbabwe and there aren’t that many parts to be had – so I’ve turned to the world in desperation...

physically it looks almost identical to a 4efte one. the plug setup is slightly different though. it looks to me as though you would get away with using a 4efte one mate. would need to adapt the wiring a bit i would have thought, but would get the car working anyway

Can't make the part number out 100% but it looks like 89620-10100.

I'll have a look into it.

To confirm - the igniter from the Glanza is identical to that from a Starlet?

The part number is 89620-10100 then there is another smaller number 131100-4883 and finally a large 488 too.
