Lots of driver's will let other driver's win...Same as alot of the driver's would of let Massa ahead at the end to win the title should he of needed it. Hamilton deserved to win this year and after the terrible stewards decisions earlier on this season it shouldn't really of been such a close call in the first place. It was however a fantastic race and when I saw him overtake Glock I think I was just as excited as his team were! lol Spilt my beer everywhere! Roll on 2009 :)

Super Mod (極度の調整器)
Well, having watched the Japanese Grand Prix in person, if Massa hadn't barged Hamilton off (putting him last), I'm sure that Hamilton would have finished in the top 3. If that were the case, the championship would have been over in Shanghai...

Hamilton has been more consistent, despite the penalties, and thoroughly deserves to win this year. Excellent race, and thoroughly enthralling/depressing/brilliant at the same time!

All the people that say fix, it blatantly wasnt. I've been the 1st person to criticise Hamilton all season for mistakes when he pushed too hard when he didnt need too. Today though he drove well considering conditions.

Glock wasnt the only person on slicks going at that speed and getting overtaken, its only because of the circumstances with Hamilton that everyones going on about it and claiming a fix.

BBC do have the rights to it next year, I hope they bring back the old theme tune they used prior to 1997 when ITV took over.

Great race and my word did the end of it give some Drama.

Well done Hamilton, deserved the title!

Hamilton haters will say fix.

But I doubt Toyota or Timo Glock would have want to let past Vettel and Toro Rosso past them.

If the rain had fallen half a lap later to begin with though..... ;)

OK my summary of a fantastic climax to a very interesting season...

Hamilton - Epic win...

Massa - Utter disappointment...

David Coulthard........... the BEST possible last race of a career ever! ... I bet the 'Wings for Life' charity are MEGA pissed @ Nico Rosberg...

It sounded from Glock's interview that he did let Hamilton past and knew full well what he was doing. Its still not a fix just a friend being a good friend!

As I said before Hamilon still deserved the championship though.

Are all you people shouting "FIX" fucking thick? How on earth was that a fix? Both Toyota's were still out on slicks and posted NEAR IDENTICAL 1.44 lap times, give or take a few split seconds. Dry tyres losing heat rapidly on a wet track going UPHILL = no grip. If Glock had floored it and spun off people like you would say it was a fix as well saying he crashed on purpose. I suppose Glock was to blame for handing Hamilton all those other points he gained throughout the season as well?

Actually it is a fix, the amount of times the stewards have fucked Hamilton over or gone in favour of Ferrari is laughable.

If Hamilton had gone into the back of Massa or Raikkonen at Fuji he would have been handed a 25 second stop go no doubt. The same race, Massa turns his car into Bourdais and Bourdais gets the penalty? Whats that all about? Bourdais was on the racing line, driving for position, didn't have anywhere else to go yet he's told he caused an 'avoidable accident'.

Anyway, well done Hamilton, thoroughly deserved win against a lot of odds.

+1

alot of people say hamilton was given it on a silver plater, yeah because having the stewards against him and loads of time/point/places taken from him all the way through and still triumphed,

THIS IS F1 PEOPLE
people let people past and block in the name of point etc

last race kimi let massa past so massa could get more points
if glock letin hamilton past was wrong so was the kimi massa place swap

so lets swap the 2 ferraris back round in the last race and swap glock and hamilton round in brazil to make it fair...... oh wait hamilton would still win

whats happened has happened and im glad of it :D

roll on F1 09 :D :D :D

I wouldn't say it was a fix either, Glock was on full slicks and it started to rain on the 3rd to last lap. On the last lap it rained heavily meaning he had no grip up to the last few corners. If you study Glocks car on the last corner before the main straight he is literally drifting around it sideways, the car then steps left and right going down the straight which clearly shows he can't get the power down due to standing water. Regardless even if he did help out it's hardly new Ferrari have been playing these strategic tricks since the 60's!

Anyhow emotional race, congrats to Lewis, Massa, Mc/Merc and Ferrari what a season look forward to the BBC next year no more advert breaks!
