well when i first upped my boost it ran 11psi on the gauge and it was a hell of alot faster. believe what you like you internet mechanics :p

We'll when i fitted my actuator on my manual gt i noticed a difference from stock to 0.8bar as it gives quicker spool up and hold's the boost longer so yes you do notice the difference.

im not saying there isnt ANY difference,

but from wat deano's saying it throws him in his chair?

i mean even at 220bhp im not exactly "thrown" into the chair.

maybe 3sgte is but with that kinda torque i would expect to be "thrown" lol

My auto bores me! Ordering everything i need to convert to manual on monday (pay day :) from jap autopart. Anyone heard of them or used them? before i go get bumped out of £450?

Well im running a td04 and that throws you in the seat mate so you must have shit torque if you dont get pushed in your seat and auto's have a better punch off the mark than a manual, i wouldnt say thrown in the back of the seat but its still a good difference from stock.

ive got 213 nm of torque..

yeah i do get pushed into the chair lol.

but the difference between being thrown and pushed is highly different in my opinion.

maybe youve never experienced "real torque"

Is your car not running right then???? I only have 175bhp and when i put my foot down I get pushed back....

yet again.. pushed and thrown are 2 complete different words lol.

and yes my car is running spot on!

im not saying it doesnt push me into the chair but i would call a 600hp supra being thrown into your chair etc

oh my you said that to the wrong person!! nick's car is a beast!

the other gt we own has 290nm of torque so i think i can relate with experience to what Deano is saying.

and hanging on the words "thrown and pushed" isnt the makings of a good discussion.

all im saying is 12 psi on a ct9 isnt exactly "throwback torque" in my eyes its measily.

neway end of convo its just going in circles really.

im sure his car is great but i think were just mis understanding eachother

Whats 213nm in IB FT torque? sounds very low tbh...

sorry i meant lb ft in the first place gettin all discombobulated!

lol i dont mean to stir an arguement i just take over inthusiasm in the wrong way i suppose :(

i think the problem is im just used 2 my car.

like the first time i went in my standard glanza wen i bought it i was like f00k me tryin 2 hang on for dear life haha..

now its at 223 bhp and its great but i dunno. im never happy :(

dan where bouts in surrey you from?
