To be honest Cal mate, you would be better taking a leaf from Idree's book - hes a smart kid whos just focused on enjoying his car doing bits an bobs to it and getting his head down at school and looking forward to passing his test!

sometimes cal winds me up, but he is young and enthusiastic, you dont have to post in the threads he makes this has just turned to nastiness, and making the kid feel bad.

congratulations cal, hopefully this will help you grow up.

Cal is one of these people that will just learn his own way through life, call it stubbornness with a great deal of naive but he'll learn the hard way like ive done in many circumstances.....

all i gotta say is if you don't have anything constructive to add or say, then just don't post anything. if u have a problem with the kid and you think he's annoying, then just don't take on his shit, and actually theres quite a few of you who always have some shite to say when cal posts a thread and i'm getting sick of it. so what if he has no clue, how else is he going to learn unless he ask's questions? however stupid and retarded you may think it is, he has a right to ask. if you don't like him or his questions, then ignor him, but for f**ksake give the kid a break. none of us knew everything about starlets when we started so jus let him be.

cal good luck with the job, hopefully u'll learn alot more about cars and get advice on ur ep more then what you've recieved here. good luck and keep at it

Isnt that below minimum wage.
Say petrol £40 a week
Insurance £30 a week
Consumables (tyres, filters, oil, plugs, pads etc over a year) £10 a week
Weekend playing money £40 a week (as your 16 and cant drink much.
Clothes £10 a week
Unforseen extras (Maccy D's takeaways, everything else) £20 a week

All adds up to £150 so basically you will never be able to buy anything for your car and you are skint all the time. :(
Unfortunatley this is what you will find happens.
But Congrats on the job!
