Il have a browser.

TBH i havent actually had a look through this car much since iv got it, i even saw a black box under the glove box that wasnt on my old ep82 so im going to see what that is, i hope its the optinoal first aid kit!

Cheers for all the help pal!

No worries fella, its kept me busy at work, although it does make sense the blower being behind the glovebox as on a glanza thats where the ecu is and the motor is behind the ashtray/stereo area

where as on a gt thats where your ecu is

Im small, im sure i can fit my hand through something without opening the whole dash, will have a try by opening the glove box first bud :freddy:

You will be able to get your hand in to inspect cus i can when i had to get out one of them damn awful speakers that are a bastard to get to, but to do the job it will be dash out

sounds like a bad connection if you ask me
sounds like that to me too.

the blower motor is NOT a dash out job,not in ep91s anyway,so i doubt it is in an ep82.
id try the resister first.
ive had many probs with my heater, still doesnt work at full power.:(

the oly thing is.... you 99.9% still need to take out the dash lol!

You were right!

Popped off the glove box, and it was there right infornt of me the blower, gave it a hard tap and my god the heaters started working again lol

On a quick note looking at it there are only 2 bolts holding it so i guess it could be changed without taking the dash off BUT its in quite a tight spot so will be quite fiddly.

Quoted for truth.

The blower motor is a circular fan located inside the heating system duct behind the glovebox. You can undo the securing bolts on the underside and drop it down into the footwell. Been a while since I changed one but they can get damaged by debris in the air flow. Wear and tear plays a part too.
