help running lean

back to topic, if there are air leaks after the afr meter/sensor will that cause it to run lean as there is more air getting in than what the afr meter thinks.

lol there is no maf by the air filter - oh well thats what they are like on pulsars anyway.

i`m sure there is something not right though because on the way home today it was running ok and i could boost without the knock sensor on my powwer fc registering anything, are you sure this is nothing to do with the lambda, what else could it be - fuel pump????? do you need a walbro or something
i`m going for a remap hopefully later on today and i dont want to spend 350 quid for nothing or for the garage to tell me something is wrong we cant do the remap.

r u kidding, i work weekend nights oh and the tuners round here you can just turn up and have you car remapped in 5 mins there is never a waiting list.

never meant any harm mate, but you cant keep looking for answers with out answering the questions you need to know first.

if a lambda sensor broke it would run rich on idle and when cruising.

if an air temp sensor failed it would run rich.

if your map sensor was buggered it wouldnt run properly and you'll be able to tell this.

also have you done a diagnostics test? if so what was the outcome.

i wanted a remap anyway to run 1 bar maybe 1.1 , if all is ok with the car a remap.

working weekend night is grief but its loadsa money and i have 4 days off so i have to take the good with the bad, also no bosses about and as many fag breaks as i want.

got it remapped puffed a big black cloud of soot to start with but all ok
185 hp at 1 bar
180 ft/lb

i did expect alittle more but his rr is meant to be accurate rather than giving you positive readings, there was det and overfueling aswell so it should be safe though the map doesnt look particularly good to me but i dont know shit.
